XP System

Each message on the Discord server logs some amount of XP for the user. XP is used to track activity level within the server. The more you chat, the more XP you'll gain! Once you reach Level 5 (or 157xp) you are considered an 'Active' member. All active members (besides admins & mods) are automatically entered into the active giveaway provided they retain their status at the time the winner is chosen.

Rules

Here is a rundown of the various rules surrounding XP;

• Each message will grant you 1 XP, which will then be multiplied by your multiplier for up to a maximum of 5 XP.
• There is a 5 minute cooldown between messages for XP to be added to the users' account.
• Your multiplier will automatically be increased (up to 5) for each message within a 24 hour period.
• After 24 hours of no activity, your multiplier will be reduced to 1. Your next message after this will log 1 XP and increase your multiple to 2 for the next message.

Inactivity Penalty

If a user goes inactive for 3 days (72 hours), the bot will start decrementing 10% of a user's XP every 24 hours. After 14 days of inactivity, their XP will be reset back to 0. The main purpose of this is to ensure only currently active users are eligible for perks.
